Tradeify launched in June 2024 and has paid out over $125 million to traders, serving more than 60,000 funded traders across its Growth, Select, and Lightning account programs. Founded by Brett Simberkoff in Boca Raton, FL, the firm has carved out a reputation for fast payouts (often within 24 hours of approval), transparent rules, and an industry-leading 90/10 profit split.
Tradeify is best for traders who want flexibility. The Select Flex path removes the daily loss limit on funded accounts — the closest thing to unrestricted prop trading in the futures space. Lightning Funded lets experienced traders skip evaluation entirely. Growth provides the most permissive evaluation in the industry, with no consistency rule during the eval phase.
The 30-second verdict
If you want the cheapest path to funded — go Growth or Select 25K (around $99 one-time, or $59 with the promo). If you want maximum freedom once funded — go Select Flex. If you want to skip evaluation and trade live capital immediately — go Lightning. All three are legitimate, well-priced, and backed by Tradeify's $125M+ payout track record.

How Tradeify stacks up against Topstep and Alpha Futures — the two firms we most often recommend alongside it.

|---|---|---|---|
| $50K Eval Fee | $145$87 | $165$85 | $79$59 |
| Profit Split | 90% / 10% | 90% / 10% | 90% / 10% |

| Max Funded Accounts | 5 | 5 | 5 |

💡 Bottom line: Tradeify wins on payout speed and instant funding; Topstep offers strong brand recognition and a polished proprietary platform; Alpha Futures matches Tradeify's EOD trailing drawdown and 90/10 split at a low entry price. All three are top-tier — your pick depends on which dimension matters most.

Tradeify is the rare prop firm that lives up to its marketing. We tested four account types across 18 months — two evaluation paths and two Lightning Funded plans — and across all of them, payouts arrived within 24-72 hours of approval without exception. That's not normal. Most firms in this space promise fast payouts and deliver slow ones. Tradeify reverses the pattern.
Growth Accounts: where most traders should start
Their Growth Accounts are designed for traders who want to scale gradually. The 1-step evaluation can be passed in as little as one trading day, with no consistency rule during the evaluation phase. This is among the most permissive eval structures in the industry. The Dynamic Daily Loss Limit guardrail prevents catastrophic losses while you're learning the firm's rhythm. For traders new to prop firms, this is a much gentler on-ramp than Topstep's Trading Combine.
Select Flex: the standout for funded traders
For my own trading, I run Select Flex. The no-DLL funded environment changes how you can manage positions through news, gap openings, and volatile sessions. It's the closest thing to trading without a safety net in a funded environment — which sounds scarier than it is, because you still have the EOD trailing drawdown floor underneath you at all times. The 40% consistency rule during evaluation disappears entirely once you're funded.
Lightning: powerful but unforgiving
For experienced traders ready to skip evaluation, Lightning Funded is the standout offering. Pay a one-time fee, bypass traditional evaluations, and start trading live capital immediately. But here's the thing most reviews don't mention loudly enough: Lightning has no resets. A breached account is a dead account. You purchase again at full price. The 20% consistency rule on the first payout is also tighter than most traders expect on a first read.
Where Tradeify isn't perfect
The 20% consistency rule on Lightning is the main friction point. If you have one big winning day, that win caps how much you can profit on other days. Hedging is also not permitted, which closes off some strategies that other firms allow. And there's no refund policy — if you change your mind after purchase, you're stuck with the account.
But for the typical futures trader — someone who wants to pass an evaluation once, get funded, and start collecting consistent payouts — Tradeify is the most direct route there is. Its combination of competitive pricing, market-leading split, and a payout track record that actually delivers is hard to beat.
What you need to know
Four key rules that govern how eligibility works in practice.
How fast does Tradeify actually pay out?
Payout requests are reviewed during daily reconciliation between 6:00–8:00 PM ET. Once approved, payments are issued within 24 hours. In practice this means most payouts arrive within 24–72 hours of submission depending on when you request and your banking provider's processing time.
What's the difference between Growth, Select, and Lightning?
Growth is a 1-step evaluation with a Daily Loss Limit and no consistency rule during eval — cheapest entry path. Select is a 1-step evaluation with no DLL but a 40% consistency rule during eval; after passing you choose Daily or Flex funded paths. Lightning skips evaluation entirely — you're funded instantly but face progressive consistency rules (20% → 25% → 30%) and no resets.
What's the consistency rule and how does it work?
The consistency rule limits how much of your total profit can come from a single trading day when you request a payout. On Lightning, your first payout is capped at 20% — meaning your single best day can't exceed 20% of total profits. It relaxes to 25% on your second payout and 30% from your third onward. On Growth funded accounts the rule is 35%. Select Flex has no consistency rule on funded.
What platforms does Tradeify support?
Tradovate (native, built-in copier), NinjaTrader, TradingView (Premium included free), and WealthCharts (normally $99/mo, included free). Tradovate has a mobile app that effectively gives you mobile access to your Tradeify account for position management. In total, Tradeify supports 13 platforms across the CQG and Rithmic data feeds: Tradovate, TradingView, NinjaTrader, WealthCharts, Tradesea, MotiveWave, Bookmap, Sierra Chart, Quantower, R | Trader, Jigsaw Trading, TickBlaze, and MultiCharts.
Can I trade news events on Tradeify?
Yes — Tradeify allows news trading, dollar-cost averaging, and bot/algorithm trading. Tradeify removed all news trading restrictions with the 3.0 update. Hedging is not permitted, but Martingale and dollar-cost-averaging strategies are allowed.
Can I hold positions overnight or over the weekend?
No. Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted on any Tradeify account, regardless of program. All positions must be closed by 4:59 PM EST each trading day.
How many funded accounts can I have?
Up to 5 funded accounts per trader, with a combined maximum balance of $750,000. You can mix and match across Growth, Select, and Lightning families. Each account is treated independently for drawdown, daily loss limits, and consistency calculations.
What happens if I breach my account?
For Growth and Select accounts, resets are available during the evaluation phase — you can purchase a reset to continue. Lightning accounts and all funded accounts have no resets. A breached funded account is permanently dead and you'd need to purchase a new one.
Is Tradeify legit?
